tbh I feel like "Ultralight Beam" and "No More Parties In LA" as a double single with "Siiiiilver Suuuuuurfer" in the middle as an intermission would've given me about the same amount of listening pleasure.
girl genius occasionally does this thing where it presents itself as a biography of the wholly fictitious main character. the authors are professors at an in-universe university goin over historical events. it's mostly just jokes. the colorist as a delusional moleman king. now years later the moleman king showed up, and it's like heh, they reused that design, but then he turned out to actually be a professor, and some other professors showed up, and one of them now has serious lines in the regular continuity

I remember that. It's pretty neat.
Like sometimes Stan Lee and Ditko or Kirby would insert themselves into the comic books as if they were the ones doing the "real" biographical comics of Spider-Man or something.
I think Steve Rogers drew his own biographical comic book. But why it was monthly, I don't know.
I have had that worry before but it is irrational cuz that's not how that works.
Granted if you're feeling sick you just shouldn't eat more chips for that reason and if you're contemplating the idea of "heart attack territory" I can't imagine you're feeling well.

You know what I hate the most about The Discourse surrounding the DCEU? The nattering over box-office returns, Hollywood accounting, and whether BvS or SS were financially successful or not. Not so much the rare people who try to separate their personal opinions from their analysis of the numbers, but the majority who are clearly slanting their analysis because they want the box-office returns to prove that their opinion was Right.
(And since when was profitability the Greatest Good? But that’s a rant for another time.)
Which ties into this weird monopolistic impulse in the MCU fandom: half the time they accuse the DCEU of flopping, they immediately follow it with "WB and DC should just stop now." Also recall how many clamored for Marvel Studios to reacquire Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four (and for Sony to likewise "just stop now"). The rabidly stupid part of the MCU fandom don't just want their brand of cape films to be the best on the block -- they want that brand to be the only option, period.
