I dug my AKM out of the closet and am using it today for the first time in a while.
I really should like actually learn how keyboard instruments work at some point so I'm not just clumsily improvising any time I turn this on, but, for some reason sheet music terrifies me.

Buildings designed to be "green" are the funniest thing
Because, like
Why did it take people into the 21st century to realize that you can save on lighting costs if you add huge windows wherever possible?

I kinda want one of those now.
There's no room in my house for a piano or even a large keyboard but I could just keep that tiny keyboard in my bedroom.

Legit first thought was "why do you have an assault rifle in your closet"

as far as instruments go they're pretty cheap, but you do need to keep in mind that this is just a USB controller, it doesn't make any sound on its own.

...point.
Still, connected to my laptop; I'm sure I could rig something
mostly right now I use it to do things like the 'synths' here (which are actually samples from "Love Letter 23" by The Brothers Johnson, don't tell anyone)
There are certain samples I cannot change the pitch of in FL Studio and this has bothered me literally for years because I cannot figure out why or how this happens.
it's because FL studio has already done a tempo-pitch correction thing on them, there's some knob in the sampler where if you turn it all the way to the left it undoes that but i can't remember which one

You people should friend me on Goodreads, because I need more people there

Touchscreens on desktop PCs seem kinda goofy to me
It's really unnatural-feeling to reach my hand up from the keyboard and poke the monitor
The "lol hollywood" stuff in Bojack Horseman ends up being like the "lol fundies" stuff in Moral Orel where it's both initially vaguely offputting but important to give you a basic idea of who the characters are.

That one is actually pretty interesting to look at without being overly gruesome. (Cloverfield and Escape from New York both treat Lady Liberty even worse and they both ended up having highly distinctive posters that gave the viewer an idea of what to expect from the movies from the jump, something that this poster does pretty well too.)
It's also much better than the one they had during the first season with the worm coming out of a woman's eye. Eugh.
Comments
the notes on the keys are all laid out for you in sequence like they are on the stave, it's not like a flute or a guitar
idk how much you know so sorry if this is insulting
but can't hurt to learn more, definitely, that's always worthwhile
ive never felt the need to use it honestly

This review of Lil B's album pretty much sums up how I felt about Suicide Squad.
So much mainstream stuff about autism focuses entirely on "look how hard it is on the parents!!!" with not a word about the child themself.
*accidentally switched it on by spamming the home button on the controller*
Well, at least I know it's off, now.

There's so much blood.
