Is...is weather affecting your mood, like, a thing that happens?
Because it's been gloomy and dark out all day, and guess what, so have I!

Matilda Wormwood is bi because the actress who played her is bi
That's my headcanon and you can't change it, Bugs Meany

Again, I'm just waiting for the dominos to fall over here.
If the UK leaves, Scotland leaves the UK; if Scotland leaves, the Tories' hold is compromised. I am oversimplifying here, but I do think that, in the long run, even a "leave" vote will not last very long.
Racism, xenophobia, the misguided belief that we will get more money somehow, a mistrust of regulations on corporate practices, and concerns that the EU is inhumanitarian and primarily supports the interests of large corporations sometimes at the expense of the British public
I always forget that "Tory" refers to the British Conservative Party, because it's in USA history textbooks as the term we used to refer to British sympathizers during the Revolutionary War
a co-worker said to me yesterday that the question boils down to, 'do you trust Europe?'
to which i said, do you trust the government we have?
but actually from what i've been hearing a big part of the 'leave' movement has really just been about trying to stick it to the government and the corporations, Labour, David Cameron, everybody. This referendum has kinda become an outlet for people's resentment over a lot of distinct issues.
Comments
but now it's actually something that might happen i don't know how to feel about that
it's really easy to say stuff like that when it's about a distant prospect
I guess that's seasonal gloom disorder or whatever they call it
Neither of these is surprising, and apparently it was by a narrower margin than expected in Newcastle, so that's worrying.
Which for autocorrect suggests octet horses
dammit

i really am not sure how you can say with confidence that this would compromise the Tories' hold on the UK
i'm glad. From the way people at work were talking about it i kinda expected Stroud to vote leave.
