^^ Sheldon and Raj wound up being the only remotely good characters/qualities of the show in general at some point. Like, at least the earlier episodes had clever jokes now and then.
I was going round Magna with a group of school kids, and there was a big rush for lunch and schools everywhere. Suddenly I had this girl in front of me with a high vis jacket over her eye covered in blood. Someone had slammed a door shut and the metal handle had hit her in the eye.
I got her down the first aid room and got a first aider. The cuts weren't big, but they were deep. But she was okay when she was sat outside, waiting for her mum to pick her up.

Last summer I worked for a distribution center. Like most such places, it was frequented by semi trucks.
The problem was: it was located less than a mile down the road from a railroad underpass with a clearance of 13'3". An empty semi trailer is nominally 13'6". A loaded one might be a little lower, but of course that's still not a suitable underpass for such vehicles.
Most drivers didn't have a problem, because they either were aware of where they were going or had a GPS navigation system with truck routes built in.
A few drivers, on the other hand, used a GPS unit with car routes instead of truck routes, and had to turn around at the last minute when they saw they were being led under the 13'3" bridge.
The moral of the story is: don't drive your overheight truck under a low bridge, or Alice Rae will stare disapprovingly in your direction.

It might be that they're legally obligated to be "always hiring", so they have to put on airs of being willing and able to hire people even if they can't / don't want to.
Shockingly common problem back home, I don't know how often it comes up elsewhere.
