I feel like Tumblr has kind of retconned ASOIAF as a progressive masterpiece out of hatred for the adaptation

i've never seen any of it on tumblr, but i did recently come upon a bunch of twitters that basically worship grrm for his progressive writing and think the show creators are the devil. they also called show-only watchers 'dumb illiterates' which seems kind of counter intuitive to social justice but [shrug]
i actually really liked shark tale as a kid for some reason. i subjected my mom to the 'car wash' scene so many times. i was a terrible daughter
