Watched Victor Frankenstein. It was pretty bad, but I loved it for James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe just having this great dynamic together. Sparks don't have healthy relationships.

Apparently his actual writing is really good and he has a really strange sense of humour that keeps things interesting. It is odd how big he's gotten doing the whole "Swann's Way meets Something Happened in Scandinavia" thing, though. Maybe voyeurism? People like curated views over other people's fences.
Captain Planet is my favorite bad TV show, because it is bad in so many varied and unique ways, and every episode is a toss-up as to how it will be bad this week.
Is this going to be a weirdly dark episode about gang violence where Wheeler has an abusive drunk father, or is it going to be an episode where Tony Jay is a magic yeti who puts mankind on trial for their sins?
Maybe it will be an episode where all the Planeteers are trapped in a computer simulation with hybrid animals, or an episode where Ma-Ti is hallucinating himself as a noir detective
Meh. You don't like an author that other people like. I think that's a more universal struggle than you assume. I find most of what I've read of Hemingway boring as sin, and I know I'm not alone.

Centie, if you get The Sims 3, get the Pets and Supernatural expansions. Pets let you have multicoloured horses (and possibly a unicorn if you befriend one), and Supernatural lets you be a fairy.

I personally don't have Pets installed, because it would cause my laptop to lag. But I have Ambitions, Generations, Supernatural, Seasons, and University Life.
