You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I really hate that Android and Emoji One seem to be redesigning their emoji to more closely match the way Apple's are depicted.
I liked that emoji looked slightly different on every operating system, dammit!
I've always preferred Google's aesthetic over the others (the blobs are cute), but yes, people do love shit design, especially when that design is the most influential (or, at least, the most ubiquitous).
Emoji have always been a weird thing for Apple because they got really popular with users right as the OS switched from the skeuomorphic look it had under Forstall to the abstract style that it's developed under Ive, and they've just stuck with the old aesthetic for them (presumably because users, namely the type of young'ns who will judge folks for having green bubbles, would have a fit if they looked any different).
After the probe crash lands on Earth, the president attempts to make first contact with it by playing a keyboard version of Axel F, but it begins to rampage toward San Francisco.
Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
This was an exceptionally annoying nosebleed (for some reason, noseplugs made the offending nostril itch like mad), but I didn't lose that much blood, honestly. I've lost more blood before and it didn't hurt as much.

Windows Defender detecting Windows activation cracks as malware kinda bothers me.
Maybe if it were a third-party antivirus doing it, it'd be ok, but with Microsoft on both ends it seems like a conflict of interest.
I mean, obviously Microsoft doesn't want users running piracy tools, but I don't think that makes it OK to present them as inherently harmful to the end-user when they're not.
