I don't think it was as extensive as the cats one, but I liked it. Their senses were mostly sound-based and they stored information by saying it in a special echo chamber and letting it echo forever, which isn't how anything works, but damn it's cool. That series is probably why I like xenofiction, come think.

It does keep to the established physical limits of animals, I'll admit, more so than Redwall and its ilk, but at the same time, it has a very human point of view and a very human sense of things. Watership Down would be the closest equivalent.
Part of what would make it unique in Xenofiction is that it deals with a wide variety of species rather than focusing on one. Warriors is Cats, Watership Down is rabbits. Dun Cow has some focus in chickens, but more main characters are of other races than is typical. Redwall is more varied overall, admittedly, but it has the cheat of animals being much more anthropomorphic

Huh, Wikipedia has an article on the black cat analogy. Bad one.
This analogy doesn't seem like it holds up very well. For one, the cat either represents truth, or actually truth doesn't exist so I can mock theologians?
I have gotten less angry at comments like this, because insight wank has taught me that it's better when STEMies stick to scientism than when they try to do philosophy.

It's a beautiful overcast Sunday afternoon in lovely Aurora, Colorado and I've got my wonderful boyfriend with me.

Not gonna lie, those Smash Fries were like dripping with grease. I'm the kind of glutton who doesn't mind that, but I can see why others might find it offputting.
