Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
Good to see you, Yarrun.
Me, I've got a psychiatry appointment in fifteen minutes, I am nos currently twenty-five minutes away, and have utterly no money to pay for it. Also I woke up five minutes ago.
Somebody on...Cracked I believe, tossed up the idea of a Sentry movie about how difficult it is to be a superhero and have mental problems at the same time, and I want to expand on it
Ever played Die Anstalt? It'd be like that, except you're working over a period of multiple sessions (possibly even months), and you're working with...differently powered individuals. Some identify as superheroes, some identify as supervillains, and some just want to be left alone. And you're working for a facility that captures them and it's your job to rehabilitate them, and you have different factions who want their psyches tuned to certain paths and you have to decide between doing what the person wants, doing what's profitable, or doing what supports your beliefs
One of the things that was discussed while I was 'away' is how most psychiatric stuff gets a bad rap in media. I'd like to change that.
It also gives me a chance to do something subversive with superheroes, and it would be, like, 90% writing and 10% programming. That's odds that I'm willing to bet on!
Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
I'd like more styles of superhero. Like, most of the time I can look at one and know exactly what DNA that character has. What that character is supposed to be to us.

I remembered being really upset when Batman: Black Mirror pulled out the "I'm a medically-diagnosed psychopath and I'm taking drugs to manage it" angle for James Gordon Jr. but then revealing that surprise, he was just a normal comic book psychopath after all.

Do you mean, like, the physical build or the costuming?
Because I can see that with build (Hulk/Thing vs Cap/IM vs Generic Supermodel #23) and costuming
Portal 2 is almost inarguably better than the original too!
Fun fact: the facility had an XBOX 360, and the only non-kinect game was portal 2
that seems irresponsible of them but at least it was a good game
did u play it
I did note that. I should send them a note telling them that a game with a verbally abusive announcer is not the best thing for that place. Still..puzzles are good. Puzzles are good to do when you're in the facility. I did a 750 piece puzzle in my room during the duration. Because I was that bored and also I like puzzles.
The farthest save was near the ending of the first chapter. I got to the white gel tests. Probably would have gotten farther, but I could only play it when no one else was using the group room, and I got stuck at that blasted white gel test again.
I am proud of getting through all of it with no walkthrough though ^_^
Today seems like a good day... for listening to music while transferring my writing crap, and reading these here library books. Maybe FTL too.
Derp derp turns out I got distracted by Isaac, military nonsense, and Parks & Recreation, whiiiich I am set on finishing tonight. Books, I'm sorry, but I quite enjoy this show.
A well-done Joker is still higher, but only by so much.
There's just something so eminent about a villain who becomes an ideal in itself. It's like how people like Superman for what he represents as much as the man behind the cape
Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
No lie, I would like to live in Doom's world.
Also, no, I wasn't talking about the Green Lanterns at all. I was talking about all the characters based on the Green Lanterns. Your Flashlights, your Beacons your Lamplighters.

Do you mean the world(s) he created, or living the life he leads?

It's going to be one of those days.

The lesson expressed here is that you can't trust a psychopath ever.
Hey, I'm a space cop!
Hey, I'm a feminist and a literal Strong Female Character.
Hey, I'm fast.
Original works should be original in more than one aspect.
