I think I broadly agree with the sentiment, indeed it is something I had been trying to articulate for a while, but I dislike the use of the word fascism
because the word is so specific
On the one hand, I liked the conclusion and the general sentiment.
On the other, I feel like the specifics of what constructive responses should be made to the situation were either not there at all or remarkably weak tea, and the tone was indicative of the sort of po-faced Neo-Marxist who honestly believes that any whimsy or embrace of the absurd is symptomatic of cultural decline.

this is why despite being a sort-of socialist myself (I think the term for what I support is the "nordic model"?) I refuse to associate with actual Marxists.

That would make you a social democrat, I believe, or perhaps a democratic socialist. And yes, Marxism tends to be a little...
Sorry about the sickness thing, by the way. Feel better, soon!
If we haven't heard from him by this time tomorrow, I will text his number and ask how he's doing. I would say earlier, but I don't want anyone to panic here...
for some reason the character whose ability is to roll 6's for a turn and is "no fun at parties" is someone i say "is my type", but on the other hand I'm also the person who finds it extremely amusing to find ways to subvert the notion of order and thus dislikes the cap on having five roll-and-move in a single turn and finds it quite amusing to accidentally or even intentionally a silly infinite loop that causes no one to be able to win a game
honestly, going through a convoluted series of steps to set up an infinite loop that causes no one to be able to win a game is a greater achievement than winning the game itself.
kinda like how getting all the way to the city of gold just to be crushed very specifically by a falling gold block ought to be rewarded with an achievement.

You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I'm really concerned that Yarrun hasn't been here in like two days. :I
same
his most recent post is like a minute after the post where he said he was in the hospital but i don't want to incite any panic so in all likelihood he's ok

Every week or so my dad posts a new picture.
Let us remember who is in charge.
