I feel like shit today and really don't want to go into Uni. But considering that all I have today is a PDP tutorial (which goes over literature reviews, can't really miss it) and a Biology in class test (done no revision for, but will blame bad marks on feeling like shit), and then I'm done for the day.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
That Ziggy is an exceptionally lame pun...but it's still a better computer-related joke than any Compu-Toon ever

> unable to sleep, end up staying awake all night
> decide to skip my 8 AM class and get a couple more hours of sleep
> wake up a couple hours later to find that said 8 AM class was cancelled for the day anyways
...This is a pretty contrived coincidence, but I'm certainly not complaining.

My biggest problems with Windows 8-10 Metro/"Universal" apps at this point is that they feel so sluggish and unresponsive.
With a regular Win32 app, you can immediately tell when it hangs. The cursor turns into a little spinner and sometimes it even blanks out the window space. With Universal apps...it just stops working.
I was really disappointed when they took out the Windows 7 wi-fi connection interface in favor of the Metro one, because it really feels like it's impossible to get it to respond to your clicks in a timely manner.
Junior doctors vote to strike at 98% on a 75% turnout, and the Grauniad immediately posts an article entitled "I'm a junior doctor and I will not strike".
Hey Zeether, my favorite Hey Arnold episode that I ever saw (out of the, like, three I ever saw) was Helga on the Couch.
Your thoughts on that episode?
It's fantastic. I like that it's an insight into Helga's character and why she is the way she is, and the ending is very sweet. Also, it almost didn't get made because Nickelodeon thought it was too grown up for kids to understand, but Craig kept pushing for it.
This is such a relief. Now nobody can make mockthreads of us, except hackers and anyone who knows how to use computers. But eh, that's the problem with anything electronic; you're at the mercy of the fifteen-year-olds who know computermagic.
IF Tv Tropes had done this, then that "This Troper" show wouldn't have happened, or, rather, it would have happened but it would have been seen as a breach of privacy rather than oh wait it was already scummy and nevermind it would have just been seen as a heroic hacker doing a Curless-Bruno-and-Jurado.

My favorite moment is Helga's black-haired friend whose name I do not remember telling Helga that therapy is common and acceptable in this day and age; and the 1984 rats reference because what the heck kinda kids show references 1984?
(sorry Odra, I hate to disagree with you)
My equivalent to Hey Arnold is PBS's Arthur. What are your thoughts on that show, Zeeth?
Game of Throwns: A tv adaptation of Crusader Kings II, which involves the ruler of a small duchy negotiating with most his court to have his son suffer a tragic window accident.
I wonder what funerals must be like in the Crusader Kings universe. "Oh poor Hagar, to die so young, in such a terrible smothering accident." "Yes, such a horrible accident. Pass the profiteroles, would you kindly?"

I think many of us do.
It was "time".

This thread seems pretty normal to me.
Like I know usually when you say that it's because I went on one of my ragey rants, but I didn't do that today...
Not my smartest idea
It was sort of revealed in the best episode of the show

I hate hackers and their computermagic.
