I thought people would be wise not to make "time to wake the guy from Green Day" jokes because the song is about his father passing away but apparently they aren't

I don't even like Green Day but can't people have respect

the thing that puzzles me most about RLM is how D-tier that voice is.

    Like, it's sub-Adam Sandler

The fact that Chris Chandler made even a token effort to edit her past homophobia out of Sonichu puts her above 90% of the Kiwi Farms posters, who loved to rag on Chris for her homophobia while themselves remaining absurdly transphobic.

You have to love how they went out of their way to shit on Chris for any perceived offense no matter how slight and now they are not even coating how ugly they really are

Gay people are often the worst transphobes, so I unfortunately don't see any contradiction there.

    This is not my experience

Gay people are often the worst transphobes

There are a lot of gay people who, at the very least, get overly sensitive about non-cis queer people.

    Well, yeah.

I guess I assumed a minority was bigger than it actually is. I'm sorry about that.

I still do see how homophobia and transphobia wouldn't contradict each other in the minds of a lot of people, though, even if we (rightly) think that they do.

Cis gay people can be pretty insensitive about trans issues at times, but in my experience the worst transphobes are people who describe themselves as "conservative", by which they mean they believe being a straight white Christian male is the epitome of all existence.

You know the kind of people I'm talking about.
  • We can do anything if we do it together.
Chris's father is an exemplar of one.

Seriously, I do get what you mean now. >_>

I'm not sure how many of those types post at the Kiwi Farms, though.
  • edited 2015-09-29 19:27:49

like yeah there are lots of gay people who can be complete dips about trans issues

but like, the most transphobitastic cis lesbian/gay/bi person i can think of is basically only slightly worse than the average self-described family-values republican type

Recall that there was a nonzero number of Kiwi Farmers who were upset that Jan Rankowski isn't actually a Republican.

    Just puttin' that out there.

Also it's weird to me how, since Bob's death, the Chris-chan followers tend to put him on a pedestal. He was easily the best of the Chandlers in that he was at least capable of functioning like an adult (something even Barbara can't really do), but he was easily one of the worst enablers of Chris's destructive habits.
  • also, why the fuck are we talking about chris-chan

    can we just like

never talk about chris-chan ever, ever again

i'd quite like not doing this

    i'd be fond
  • kill living beings
