So I just watched the first two episodes of The Tatami Galaxy and I am so, so exhausted
It slows down after a few episodes. That, and you begin to get used to it. In combination, it becomes a much less exhausting watch.
I'm decently used to it even now, but it's one of those things that's esoteric and super interesting and I'm in a weird phase right now where any sort of media that isn't, like, indulgent genre stuff just bums me out. I HATE that.
I saw someone on twitter talk about how a friend of there's almost failed an art class because the teacher refused to believe a narwhal was a real animal.

You could always try toning down your rhetoric and avoid doing things that would bug you insofar as you are capable of controlling them.

okay, the idea of Asperchu going from an affectionate parody to what was essentially a Mind Crush makes perfect sense. I only ever read the beginning of it—to be honest, it was kind of dull—but I can definitely see it getting mean really fast.

No, it's just really fast and you have to be paying attention and, if need be, willing to rewind to catch anything that you missed.
