You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I'm one of those tree-killing jerks who still prints out the PowerPoint slides to take to the lecture with me

My professors specifically provide the slides online intending for you to do that, so...
I could just look at them on a laptop but I find having a piece of paper in front of me is far less distracting than being a click away from the internet
Experiment 1 lab reports are due AT 8:00am tomorrow. If labs are turned in after 8:05am, they will be considered late and you will have 10% deducted from your grade on the lab.
Is there a legit reason for rules like this or do instructors just like giving students a hard time?
Trying to encourage/train punctuality in students, and also making it more convenient for the grader, I guess.
Though the difficult question becomes, if it's 7:30am and you only have it half done, do you throw together a noticeably half-ass job and hand it in on time or do you take the 10% deduction (and possibly miss part of class) in order to finish it to a reasonable standard of quality (and hopefully get more points than you would if it was halff-assed)?

One thing I'm a little annoyed about is how they only sell skinny jeans. Different types of skinnies, but still only skinnies. Aka the one type of jean I can't wear.
Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
I would really like it if I reposted a nice or relatable sentiment and then this one friend I have goes; "Yeah, that's actually bullshit because it doesn't apply to me at all!"
Like. Come on. I don't understand people who scream about shipping or whatever but I have better things to do than to counterpoint their statements.

Yeah, and you don't post small, relatable sentiments. It's always the long form for you.
Which is good. You do you, and it makes it so that whenever I see your post appear, I get excited, because it's going to be lots of information about something interesting, usually.

There's nothing BUT liquid, is the weird part.
