there's like this weird thing in lit where realism and experimentalism are perpetually at war
as if they don't play off one another, as if experimental novels can never feel samey, as if realist novels are somehow objectively relatable, as if both approaches haven't changed over the years

I notice this in other mediums as well and it's real strange to me.
Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
Not all of us have the same energy as you, Kex. And it's not that we're all geezers here (which I mean granted, we are), but there are certain things that make us feel bad, and we've all suffered enough already.
Like, the other day I woke up and saw my friends talk about some stupid shit. It was inconsequential, stupid shit. I barely remember what was said, what was discussed. But seeing them go at it, I lost all my strength and just deflated like a goddamn balloon. I barely did anything that day.
Living is tiring. And I would like it if the things to which I am obligated to would not hurt me like this.

I don't get the intersection of Fallout and My Little Pony.
Like, a good bit of the former's appeal is playing with guns? And you can't really play with guns in the latter? Because you don't have hands? You just telekinetically move things around or some shit?

I mean, I saw some fanart of some pony levitating a gun. Presumably, it was going to shoot something, but it didn't mean anything, because using a gun is a gesture, a code in the body language. Levitating a gun doesn't mean anything.
It makes me think; "Why don't ponies just use guns that don't have grips? Why do they insist on grips? Did someone with hands teach them how to make guns and they never figured it out for themselves?"

It's also extremely cute, and deserves a peek.
