I got to go to an alpaca farm once and pet one of the alpacas. They're very soft.

And now I'm reading the discussion about Irene in the old Heap, and wondering once again why the TVT forums exist if the people in charge really don't want them there. At this point, I kind of wish Eddie would close everything but the Workshops. It'd mean someone would have to put up a PHPbb or Vanilla instance to take up the slack, but still.

I still hang around, but mainly in a few threads in YF where some people that don't frequent HH hang out. As for the rest, well: I don't usually read the Workshops because they typically bother me; I gave up on Forum Games long ago after its clientele and YF's diverged too much; I've never really been one for role-playing; and I don't usually frequent the Media boards except for the MSPA thread in Webcomics. OTC I thought was recovering, but it seems like it'll still explode into name-calling and victim-blaming just given the right issue, so whatever.

For about a year (give or take) I restricted myself to just the Trash Heap, Fetishes and a couple other places (the Literature and Music subfora). Made it quite a bit easier to leave entirely.

I consider myself on a hiatus, though. Might go back eventually.
