I said nothing at tvt 8ecause I didn't want to get into it with that guy 'cause I've gotten into it with him 8efore and it was not pretty. 8ut LOL who asks for a recap in the trash heap.

You know, I saw some Belle dolls at Target and I kinda wanted one, but I realized I had no idea what I'd do with it.
Also I was on US 40 this afternoon as well--the Golden Corral and the Roses store are both on Main Street/US 40 in Whitehall.

I had never heard of the place before today. My grandmother (who lives in Whitehall) suggested my mother go clothes-shopping there.
It's in a former Big Bear Plus store, which had previously been in very poor condition. I honestly expected it to be demolished before it was used for anything again, though I'm quite thankful it wasn't.

I don't know what the inside was like (because I hadn't been in the store since almost 10 years before it closed), but the front of the store was almost entirely boarded up and it looked like it was pretty much left to rot.
...The linoleum and ceiling tiles in the store now don't look "new" at all, though, so perhaps it was not as bad inside as it looked outside.
(Also they seem to have given the outside a fresh coat of paint, which makes it look a lot better)

It's not so much that they look dated or anything as it is that they don't look new enough to have been installed right before the store opened.

It also retains that big weird light section that a Big Bear store would have had over the checkout, which tells me that the interior hasn't been completely overhauled.
