The common denominations for paper money are $1, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100
There are also 50¢ coins, $1 coins, and $2 bills, but you don't encounter those very often
there're also $1,000 and $5,000 bills, but those are not printed anymore and the few that still exist are almost exclusively either items for wealthy collectors or used for transactions between banks.
There're actually quite a few denominations of large-value U.S. currency but most are long out of print entirely.

We also have a lot of vanity currency. Some of our quarters have pictures related to the individual states on the back.
Aw man, the state quarters. Have you seen those, Tachyon?
i've at least heard of them. i remember they were referenced in Epic Rap Battles of History the one time.
Are they minted in the states in question?
No, they're just commemorative designs featuring things associated with each state. They started in 1999 and progressed through all the states in order of statehood (starting with Delware and ending with Hawaii)

Also there are only a handful of legal (ie. non-vanity) mints in the country.
It's one of the main reasons that I get kind of really sad whenever you talk bad about Denver, Nonny, because my dad always talks about it like its this cool big town where all the neat stuff is, where his dad and his dad's friends went to the biggest rodeo in the world, and if you go there, you can say for the rest of your life that you've been.
Denver's always been one of the important cities in the world to me, right up there with Provo (big culturally, not geographically) and Salt Lake.

We have a lot of D coins, including a magnetic one from 1945.
The WWII-era steel pennies! Man, those are awesome.
We also have a D nickel that's 15% silver from the 20's. It belonged to my great-grandmother. My dad likes to collect coins, and tends to save coins and spend paper.

Denver is the only city I know of whose airport is guarded by a giant blue demon horse who killed his creator, so it gets serious cool points for that, at least.
Also everywhere you go there's this beautiful mountainscape in the background; it's very scenic.

Columbus's airport is pretty bland.
Though in about two weeks it will have an Anonus, which is a Very Good Thing To Have

The last time I was at Port Columbus (during my Christmas visit to AU) there were renovations underway
I'm curious to see how that's progressed when I go pick AU up next month

That's what i thought.
We don't use 'sidewalk' over here, and we don't have a specific term for a paved surface.
Wait, really? In that case you are using it the UK way, i think.
i wasn't aware anyone in the US used it that way.
How are you feeling?
It's a bunch of semi-surreal short stories.
. . . apparently it's £100,000,000 but it's non-circulating
Are they minted in the states in question?
maximum likelihood estimation
