from sredni @odradek and sunn: "Do tell Sunn and Odra that William Sansom and Hagiwara Sakutaro are very much worth checking out, and that in general The Weird is a delectable anthology even if the absences of Steve Rasnic Tem, John Hawkes, Elizabeth Bowen and Joel Lane are criminal."

The temptation to call off work is strong.
I might end up doing it anyways if the car isn't fixed in time...

I used to have a bit of a general dislike of them but eventually I came to really like Exmilitary after sredni urged me to give it another go, and I loved Govt Plates
but I still don't like the money store
Exmilitary is my favourite Death Grips album by some distance, so at least we can agree on that.
As for the rest of their albums, there are one or two tracks I love on each of them and the rest is just good to me. Judging by our very disparate reactions to "On GP", we may disagree vastly on what those tracks are.
(FWIW, on Government Plates, that track was "Birds" and on The Money Store it was "I've Seen Footage".)
I think we can both agree that it is good that they keep trying new things, at least, even if you may not like what the results are.
I am young and cute and have a modicum of experience
youngness/cuteness imo only gives u a significant advantage in bar work/coffee shop/clothes shop jobs. i suppose goodwill is kinda a clothes shop but also its different
also the jobs market is insanely shit in general for young ppl bcos for just about any job u go for there will probably be someone with years of experience also applying it sux
churches is a scottish retro-ish synthpop group who put out a song that I thought was OK on what i thought was a so-so album but sredni ended up liking the album a whole bunch

because we have like 5 packs of spaghetti sitting around atm
I love spaghetti carbonara but I can never get it quite right
getting the sauce at the right consistency is hella difficult, its very easy to add too much or too little water to the sauce... between us my boyfriend and i have made it 5 or 6 times and the consistency has only come out right once

I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Sometimes I wonder how many people realize that Ben & Jerry's hasn't been independent in over a decade and is in fact a unit of the multinational behemoth Unilever

I assumed they were owned by someone but was not sure who precisely.

Most people wouldn't care even if they did know, I think.

Didn't know, rarely ever have Ben & Jerry's.
i'm not shocked, it's kinda weird to me but that's only because whenever i read "Unilever" i think of soap

Unilever is such a mega-conglomerate that I can't be surprised when they own anything anymore

It probably won't happen, but I can dream.

This is unusual.
They just don't believe in live shows, music videos, or digital and physical distribution.
that one time was tonight, incidentally :3333333
I will also never go on SA or Tumblr ever again.
