Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is not a perfect game and doesn't quite capture the same allure the first game had, but it is still incredibly fun and I am enjoying it a lot. I can tell because I'm very tired.
Eddie's homemade forum software choked on a couple years of old threads, leading him to purge it every so often.
Something Awful, on the other hand, keeps forum archives of the past 14 years, handles thousands of simultaneous users, and still performs decently well.
Granted, SA has more money to throw at maintenance and server costs than Eddie did, but the point is running a forum the size of TVT's is feasible.
otoh SA requires a membership fee and is just generally worse.
Thoughts on GMing: Some GMs (and players) think that the biggest danger is the GM. It is actually the players themselves.
Congratulations, you killed the BBEG early. Now there's a power vacuum that their right-hand man happily fills, they're now out for blood, and most importantly, they know how you fight.
Congratulations, you stopped an evil cult from summoning the dread god H'vuhptwmbt. Unfortunately you destroyed a town to do so and are now a wanted fugitive in twelve kingdoms and a principality.
Congratulations, you stole a magical artifact of immense power. You now have the undivided attention of several mildly annoyed cosmic divinities.
The secret to a good game is that you need everyone to be on board, on the same page.
You should be able to say "don't do that, I don't want to go there/haven't prepared for that" and they should be able to accept it.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Presumably Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island have some specific laws that will affect how they handle the next part of the application.
It's still a very silly way of presenting it, though.

(and i can't think of any job that i could actually do and not hate it)
Usually I end up being good enough at the work I do that my bosses and coworkers genuinely appreciate that I've made their work a little easier...
Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead
Give me strength to not respond to this, and not care that I haven't responded.
is a double horse a stereopony?
It's one of those days.
Though I seem to be having a lot of "those days" a lot.
I am in heaven.
And the workshop leader keeps referring to me due my background in forensics.
