The owner is treated like Hammond at first but his character takes a shitton of needless, egotistical risks and is clearly concerned about money /sometimes/, the teenager is sensitive and caring sometimes but apathetic other times, and I had no idea what whatshisnamefromtheoriginal was supposed to be doing
The only character who was framed as a bad guy and was actually, like, bad was given nonsensical motivations
I have been beating on right wing people a lot, so I should probably state that John Steppling should be banished from the internet so he can go to the senile dementia ward.

my boyfriend has been watching the gilmore girls a lot lately
and my sister has like every season memorized
i am almost as deep into gilmore girls lore
I dispise both Lorelais.
One stole a boat, which is irredemable. Boat thievery is the worst thing you can do to a person. Boat theft. It makes me cry just thinking about it.
THe other didn't grow a mustache and find some shoes that let you walk on any surface; which is where her character arc was truly meant to go, instead of marrying either Luke or Chris.
(All I know is that Lorelai the younger stole a boat and never lived it down for some reason; and Lorelai the elder was set up with a person named Luke for about 90 per-cent of the show's run, and instead of resolving it, they brought back Lorelai Junior's long-left-father so as to make a love triangle when everyone knew she would eventually end up with Luke because why else develop a relationship like that over so long).
the boat thing was where she hit total rock bottom (in the most WASP-y way possible of course) after a bunch of terrible stuff happened to her. she was sentenced to some community service
and i like the way things worked out with Luke, it was a very complex, multifaceted and real-feeling relationship, the kind that TV usually lacks, and it was nice to see it work out in a non-obvious way

Not gonna lie. I can't help but feel incredibly dumb compared to everyone else here which is probably why I don't post here much. Feel rather out of place to be honest.
Well, I do feel like I have rather simple tastes and goals here in comparison. Kinda hard for me to explain why I like the things I do or feel the way I do, where I see some people here go into quite a lot of detail that run deep.
Maybe I'm overthinking things then. I get ramblely when it's late at night.

It's Pittsburgh on the west, Philadelphia on the east, and the rest is Alabama with winters.
