Ah. Well, the Japanese version called Eletale Monsters is tons better. It slightly improves the story, and the gameplay is just plain better, to put it bluntly.

It is a silly name, though I wonder if it would sound less silly if we didn't associate "Paramount" with Paramount Pictures. (Yeah, I know, it wouldn't be called that without them, but still.)
Also you can follow people on Disqus, apparently. I didn't know that.

Well I read "The Paramount" as if it were an adjective or some non-station group-related noun. It would be like calling In-Sink "The WRAL" or something.

Well yeah, I think the title is a deliberate play on the name of the company as well as the adjective "paramount" meaning "supreme" or "highest".

Stalking is one of the most common examples of this attitude. In any other context, Edward following Bella everywhere and breaking into her home so he can sit in the room and watch her while she sleeps would be absolutely terrifying.
OKAY. Someone needs to paste The Burger King's head onto creepy sleeping-girl-watching Edward, dammit.
I envisioned an ad campaign for Burger King yesterday in my dreams.
It was basically two guys being funny in a BK, similar to how Taco Bell did their campaigns back when they used "Think Outside The Bun" as a catch phrase.
The funniest one I came up with had the Burger King himself appear, but he wasn't creepy or anything.
(The King is sitting in a booth full of cups and wrappers from old meals. He's not so much creepy as he is down-on-his-luck. It almost seems like ever since he got fired he's been in this BK just eating away.)
(Meanwhile, Tyler and Eric are at a table across the floor watching him.)
Tyler: Don't you think we should try to help that guy?
Eric: Dude, he's been here for weeks. And he smells.

Tre, WRAL-TV was In-Sink's original client, commissioning V.1 in 1994 and V.2 in 1998. They may have commissioned V.3 in 2000, or 615 may have done that without a commission.

That too, though I thought the typo was more amusing, myself.

As much as I enjoy/fear Japanese culture, I haven't gone the distance and learned the language.

Good night.
And Lee, I'm pretty sure that's been done.
WNCN's look was for all the Media General stations; does WNCN's version of them look like crap? (WCMH doesn't use them anymore, I know that.)
Heh, KWGN-TV used to use In-Sink V.3 (they didn't use that cut for the open proper, though they did use that one for the cold open.)
