I'm not sure if I've left so much as "Haven't decided it's worth my time for a few weeks." This is about the third time I've done it...though this time I've prioritized another forum above TVT, so who knows if I'll be back.

No, it's just me desperately deleting unnecessary files to install this program and the prerequisite service packs because someone thought setting up a server with a C drive that only had 30 gigs was a good idea.
Pro-tip: It's not.
But I got it installed, now. I just have to reset the server and hope I'm able to remote back into it this time.
Theory: Old games with interesting control schemes should have the control schemes copied into a modern game.
I took a shot at Quest 64 on an emulator once. Couldn't get the hang of it. But I think I'd like to try it if it, or something based on the concept, was put on WiiWare

@Yarrun: Well, Paper Mario has some similarities in the Action Commands bit. They'd kind of similar in a sense. Not exactly.
Also, try Tales of Symphonia. If it was turn-based, it'd be pretty damn similar.
Well, Squid, try it on Project 64. It's really easy due to the slowness of the game. Works great on a keyboard. I do not suggest buying it without trying first.
Ah. Tried Paper Mario. Got significantly farther than in Quest 64. The action commands were interesting and doable --- at least, they would have been doable if I was playing with an actual controller. T
