Another group of people who annoy the fuck out of me, since they slander three separate groups I consider myself a part of: people who think they're "aware of LGBT issues" because they read fucking yaoi, or yuri, or slashfiction.
Fuck. You. Seriously. It's one thing to read smut, another entirely to say that it makes you a better person than those who don't.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

Ok, I'll bite: LGBT people, people who read yaoi/yuri...what's the third group?
There are many, many reasons for that. Most of them personal and/or rather petty, a few I consider legitimate "applies to most of the userbase" type things, and a couple are just fucking dumb (like the racism). But yeah, I consider Sanks the absolute worst that the anime fandoms have to offer, and I hate it because it makes the rest of us look like idiots, and because they're generally just unpleasant people.
edit: as a quick comparison, you're into MLP, right? Imagine if, in addition to Ponychan and all the assorted legit MLP fansites, there was one that ended up being a haven for everyone who got banned from all the other sites for being too racist/sexist/homophobic/overly rabid/generally idiotic, and you have a general idea of what Sanks is like.
In any case, it's 2:30 in the morning. So. Goodnight.
what's the third group
People who read manga/comicbooks in general.
I guess that technically there are only two groups, and that combined they make the third...whatever. It's not important, you know what I mean. I think.

Yay, take THAT all the people who haven't used this computer in a few months. You ass-hats will have to just log in with none of your previous user settings in place...
Provided you log in in like...the next 12 hours, before this server goes away...
That's a thing that happens, Squid. Sometimes, really good things happen to you and you feel terrible afterwards because you're coming off of a big high. Same thing happens with slightly good things, sometimes.
who are you and why did you do that
Derp. That sounds like something I would have said. Something I probably said, in fact. Not the emoticon though.
Ugh. The few times I've read that site, I've felt like I've need to wash my brain out with battery acid afterwards. :P Not even /b/ has had that effect on me before, and that's saying something.
The nature of identity is a strange little widget of a thing.
Are we, or is it the thoughts of others that defines whether we are or not? How much do our own actions and opinions control the nature of our own existence? When one goes into a sensory deprivation chamber, does the world still exist even though you don't know it's there?
The thing about /b/ is that it's mostly grabassing and spam. As bad of a reputation as it has, there's relatively few actual creeps there. Sankaku, however, is practically a fetish site without actually being one, if that makes sense. You can see the fanboy drool everywhere, and it's disgusting.
Kingdom Hearts is pretty much the best console game I've ever played. Period. Except for the Gummi Ship sections. And it's the reason why I keep drawing the Hikari kanji on everything I do. So, yeah, Squiddle's more or less correct.
It might be the best game I've played ever, but Portal 2 is also pretty good (if occasionally predictable).
I'm somewhat nervous to say this, but there's no easy way.
I didn't like Portal 2 as much as I wanted to.
Had a lot of great moments and a lot of fun mechanics. Great voice acting and atmosphere. But, for me at least, it turned into a total slog after a while. Felt like it would never end.
@ Squiddle, concerning identity: While existentialism (which is more or less what you said) is always a good fallback when talking about the universe, it always seem inefficient for me.
At some point, one has to recognize that there are some things that can't be controlled by opinions, else everything just gets confusing. If we have people disagreeing about whether the Earth is Earth, well, we'd have a bit of trouble with that.
@ Plutonium: I understand what you're feeling, both gamewise and feelingwise.
Portal 2 does get pretty slow once Wheatley goes mad and you have to climb your way back up. And I felt the same way about the Super Mario Galaxy games: Fun, but not the bowel-bursting extravaganza that I was promised.
Mirror's Edge is good but it piles up on the combat more during its later parts, and considering that that's the weakest part of the game... yeah.
Speaking of games, I just came back from a lengthy session with inFamous 2. I fought this thing. Surprisingly, it wasn't that hard; unlike my fight with the Ravager, I only died once.
If these things start infesting the streets often then I'm gonna hafta choke someone though.
Good point. The whole unwelt thing has to be taken into consideration.
It makes me think, at times, that I'll never quite understand what the person next to me on the bus is, or who the person is. Who they are can only be understood through their own viewpoint, and I'll never be able to crawl inside their head and see through their eyes. I can only view them through the lens of my own experiences.
I think this is part of why I'm often friends with people that others find annoying. Unless they're caustic to me or caustic to someone I value, I can accept that anybody's idiosyncrasies are a merely a consequence of how they were brought up.

I should go to bed now before I start denouncing the evils of ageism or something.
goodnight.
