I saw TotalBiscuit's video of it, and it seemed to be "the stuff-breaking-into-pieces physics engine is cool, but the violence and gore are not that groundbreaking, the game is poorly optimized, and the script/story is cringeworthy".
Coincidentially, this release almost at the same time Valve announced its new refund policy. Heh.

While shuffling through my glove box looking up how to turn my hazard flashers on, I found a Nationwide car insurance card dated 7 October 1995.
I'm not going to post it, because it contains someone's personal information (albeit likely many years out of date), but it was a neat find. It's even got the old Nationwide logo, back when the eagle still had talons. :P

I thought about that but that would more or less mean blacking out the whole thing except the logo and dates

I should have known that this Wendi's would have been closed for the 11th and 12th hours of the evening, since I went to another one and it was closed after 10 PM...and inDeed it was.
("Wendi" and "Deed" are the names of the 11th and 12th members of a set of number-themed antagonists in Nanoha StrikerS. They are notable in that they are NOT named after the corresponding Italian cardinal numerals.)

That's one of those words you never see without "dis"
i could be wrong but i feel like she was probably not the draw for most kids
Series!Cruella has her fans, and she can be amusing, but on the other hand the real series seems to make it a point to gloss over/trivialize how monstrous she really is (and even then the 1961 movie toned her down from the book, where she had a cat who would frequently get pregnant with the kittens of strays - whom she would drown for having a diluted pedigree! She drowned 44 of them), which I don't
I will never love anything as much as the various strains of British dance music love the Amen break.
I wrote part of an essay on that.
It sucks that the guys who came up with the Amen break essentially got left in the air. I mean, the main guy's kind of a dick about not wanting entire genres to exist because they screwed him over, but at the same time, he has a point.
Two of its three central characters (Cadpig and Spot) are varying degrees of batshit. They live in a shithole town in Louisiana. Weird shit is always happening. How is it not going to be dark?
^^ Honest answer? In a cartoon for children, i can see that premise working fine without being dark. Spot's not "batshit", just a bit scatty and excitable. Cadpig undeniably has issues but they're seldom in focus and they don't appear to be debilitating.
Having said which it's your fic, there's nothing wrong with making it as dark as you like.

honestly I've always felt that sampling should just be
allowed?
that's not feasible i suppose but I feel like it's if you had to pay the guy who invented trumpets any time you wanted to play a song on a trumpet or compose a piece for a trumpet. A sample is just an instrument.
also can we talk about the song "Limb By Limb" by Cutty Ranks
i'm not familiar enough with Jamaican slang to make all of it out (Cutty has a pretty heavy accent) but to my ears it sounds like the most upbeat, melodic song about just fuckin' killing a dude ever.
^^ i have this argument with my dad every once in a while.
He feels that musicianship is a difficult skill and that sampling is lazy and means the result isn't entirely "your" music.
He feels quite strongly about it. i've tried to draw his attention to creative ways samples can be used, but i've had limited success.
your dad is
like
wrong.
Sampling is musicianship. It is a shame that he doesn't understand that.
Of course you can just lazily loop something, and I've done that before too, for the same reason that not every guitar riff is as iconic as "Smoke on The Water", but you know.
also earlier tonight (?) I tried to do a live recording by just plugging the master track in FL Studio into the Edison recorder and the problem there is that that also records any sounds you make outside of the pattern bank, so like if you accidentally click on a sample in your samples list it'll pick that up too, usually loudly.
it's an odd problem and one I wish I knew how to solve. I'm sure I'll come up with something.

Like what would emboweling somebody entail?
