although i will say it sounds like your therapist was not very good
this is always what ive thought when you talk about your experience with a therapist myrm
no good therapist would look down on you for anything, and if they did do that then they were a fucking shit therapist and that's not your fault. regrettably fucking shit therapists do exist. it sounds like you got one. don't think that all therapy is useless because of it. dont think you are a bad person because of it.
if you don't want to talk about the things, that's your business
i can make suggestions, and maybe they won't be relevant, you don't have to say either way
starting small, what about finding ways to keep yourself occupied and away from the people who are nasty to you? You could plan your days ahead of time, figure when you're going to read what, when you're going to watch a movie or whatever
if you stick to the schedule, you could, perhaps, reward yourself in some way. if you don't, it's not a big deal, better luck the next day. no pressure
i think it's easier to find practical solutions to problems if you're organized, and you're less likely to become preoccupied with negative people who are dragging you down if you have better, more appealing things to do with your time
and they both reacted the same way? then you got two. doesnt matter what your problem is no therapist worth their time will look down on you, for anything.
i am presenting the paper tomorrow, so i have to have it done in time for the conference tomorrow, which starts at 9am, and also i have to avoid falling asleep in the middle of presenting my paper. wheeee
i think i have some sort of allergy, i have this combination half stuffy nose and mucus congealing in my throat and it just comes and goes in a seemingly arbitrary way

I wasn't aware that it existed, but the fact that it does is intriguing and very cool.
(I'll admit, I figured opera was one of those more Western-centric art forms, though most of my knowledge of it in general is limited to what I've seen of the Italian style so that very well may be the reason.)
Facing up to the reality that if I want a reasonably powerful new laptop without paying nearly one and a half thousand dollars, I'm going to have to ditch Apl's #products.
I don't mind doing this other than the fact that I have a bunch of file organization I'm going to have to leave behind (though not necessarily the files themselves). I'll also have to back things up in a more laborious way, since Windows doesn't come with fancy-pants backup systems like OSX does.
Conversely, I'm going with a Mac for college in lieu of a Windows-based laptop mostly because my desktop is already a Windows gaming machine and I vastly prefer OS X for most of the other things I do-- be that making music, using photo editing software, writing, etc.
The fact that I got a fair amount of donations and don't have to worry about tuition is also helping my case as far as the investment goes.

Hey, that's good to hear. (A lot of the software stuff is stuff I can do on either platform or only on Windows, so that affects my own decision.)
I technically do have the money to just splurge on a McBook but I also have a bunch of objections to how their laptops are put together too. I really love OSX for a lot of things, but I want a computer I can open to switch parts on, given that I know that their options are, well, extremely overpriced.

More than anything I'm just impressed someone bothered to translate the entire play to faux-textspeak

if you're not getting enough of either of those, it can adversely affect your mood and your health

One thing I'm learning is every other laptop manufacturer fucking hates standardized keyboard layouts.
