Things about old computers I'm not nostalgic for: having to install the "trial" version of WinZip to be able to open zip files
It's kinda funny, in retrospect; those old versions of WinZip didn't actually stop you from using the app once the trial period was over--they just begged you to buy the full version.

It depends on how broadly you define rock, but I do basically agree.
I like a bunch of rock music too, and it's also probably my favorite genre.
But there are multiple hit songs that still get played today that are irritatingly defensive about how they still like rock more than other kinds of music.
The only good one of that genre is "Heart of Rock And Roll" because Huey Lewis of all people realizes that most genres of modern music incorporate bits of rock, so it's all cool.

I just remembered that the printer my family had in like 2004 had the most weirdly specific bug: if you tried to print from a user account without admin privileges, it only printed half a page.
How does a bug like that even happen? Like, what's a printer driver doing that requires admin privileges?
