It's just... I haven't accomplished anything with this day. All that happened was that everything just sorta fizzled out and was over. Two books got caught in the crossfire, and are now in critical condition (i.e. fully and totally soaked). I don't know whether to mercy kill them or go through the long process of rehabilitation

I remember this one anime that was about carbon tax or something. And the protagonist was a teenage girl with a giant boomerang, leading a revolution or something.
And the first thing her group does when she gets out of prison is burn some stuff to violate the carbon tax or something.
It made no fucking sense to me. People don't willingly flaunt the law without some kind of reward. Like thrills, or fun. Burning shit in a furnace just to produce the burn byproduct isn't fun.
The price I have to pay once a month. At least University is over now and I can take the weekend to just relax and do nothing. Except clean my room and do a lot of washing.

It's interesting how Centralia progressed from "like America but with a princess in charge" to "like a combination of modern America and Europe but with fantasy elements" to "a completely fictional magical world, which exists in another realm/universe/dimension/whatever, and only superficially resembles modern-day America or Europe when it's convenient"
