honestly one of the pieces of it might be the fact that i enjoy them in ways that are most suited for them being a scarcity and instead i'm facing a glut
another way of saying this could be that i like to obsess over stuff but the way things work right now really makes it feel like oh i've finished this series i need to tell people about it and move on to the next series
not sure whether to post it on the site but copying a "12-step" meme from another user there:
How to save anime in 12 easy steps 1. tone down the fanservice 2. stop making shows that have wackiness as a premise 3. let girls wear pants already 4. stop making so many shows with a focus on wackiness/weirdness 5. stop making meme gifs (and now webms as well) 6. stop hating dubs or generally being so obsessed with all things Japanese 7. stop feeding at the trough of fanservice 8. stop feeding at the trough of hype 9. stop being judgemental about others' tastes 10. stop compelling me to watch stuff like it's some sort of task to be done or social obligation 11. realize that anime does not need "saving", move on 12. take a break from it
The target of these imperatives does indeed goes from the producers to the fandom and finally to myself.
edit; the list is unedited and i feel too lazy to clean it up
life update: my whole project idea was based on the idea that most of these data sets would play nicely with linear regressions whoops lol of course they dont.
I'll still be able to do some stuff but most of my conclusion is gonna be "I need either way more than 5 years worth of data to make this work or way more granularity with the data i.e. data for individual businesses as opposed to industrial subsectors"
So I got called in to work on my day off because somebody got sick in the middle of their shift. So while I was finishing up my chores at the end of the night at the back of the store, everyone left and I got locked in the goddamn store. Eventually the police had to come and let me out, since the security company couldn't get it touch with anyone who had a key to the store.
alright so I'm gonna take a total shot in the dark here and hope maybe someone who knows stuff about computers can give me some input here
so I downloaded Dark Souls 2 via means in order to test it out to see if it would work on my laptop.
While it runs smooth as butter, all the models are fucked up, namely, they look like this
that is to say they stand rigidly upright, and the limbs are often detatched from the bodies. That thing in the picture is a catlike creature that's supposed to run around on all fours.

IOW i made the mistake of making a to-watch list

I'll still be able to do some stuff but most of my conclusion is gonna be "I need either way more than 5 years worth of data to make this work or way more granularity with the data i.e. data for individual businesses as opposed to industrial subsectors"
being meguka is suffering
it would have been way more numbers to crunch but that's what we have computers for ._.
i am less good at THIS MALARKEY
Assassin poems, Poems that shoot

That was "fun".
Glad you made it out at least...
And then crawl back to bed.

That certainly is a bug.
