In 2020, KEBC-TV in Cloudsdale did an exposé on the mysterious Rainbow Factory. Rainbow Dash was arrested, and an Equestria court found her guilty of "killing many children and not inviting us to help". Dash was sentenced to spend 30 years in Detroit, but she escaped after only 3 weeks because, duh, wings. Her current whereabouts are unknown, though her latest Sonic Rainboom is said to be "the best thing that happened to Detroit in decades."
Meanwhile, Unicorn Supremacist Sweetie Belle kept committing hate crimes against the Apple family until they decided to go into hiding and sell Sweet Apple Acres. The farm was purchased by Filthy Rich, who clear-cut every last apple tree (including the Zap ones) to make room for a parking lot. The only problem was that automobiles didn't exist in Equestria, so they had to wait around 200 years or so for them to be invented. By this time Fluttershy was the only of the mane six still alive, so she dedicated the parking lot to the memory of Angel Bunny
