I can appreciate the idea behind novelty-shaped gift cards, but for fuck's sake, try to at least keep it within the dimensions of a regular credit card so I can fit it in my wallet.

I would think that any country with a non-symmetrical flag would have a rule for which orientation is the "proper" one

Japan doesn't have a problem of people hanging flags backwards or upside down I suppose, but that's the exception rather than the rule.
