It's harmless in a vacuum, but it's part of larger flag etiquette which is the sort of thing that makes non-Americans think Americans are a bunch of raving jingoistic lunatics.
Bioshock Inf is down to a buyable price. 8 dollars.
But I ain't gonna buy it. Because I've seen the reviews and I am disappointed with the path that they took with this game, and the only way to show my displeasure is to not buy the game until they're forced to make it dirt cheap.
i still haven't read that book my dad gave me that has zizek walking away from an explosion on the cover and tbh im not really interested in reading it
well, don't feel bad
somebody gave me a book years ago about Napoleon invading Russia and I still haven't read it
Not that I'm saying you should buy it, but that's probably the lowest it will ever go until it enters the "this belongs in retro compilations alongside like 8 other games" age.
apparently in bioshock infinite a point of the people who rose up against a racist regime via violence being equally as bad as said grotesquely racist regime was made

Yes, that cheap.
I like to keep up petty rivalries with video-game companies. As evidenced by my continuing refusal to buy that one Skyrim DLC.

You have to have a thing in order to exist as a human being rather than simply a thing. Especially here. Multiple things helps to pad out the illusion.
One of mine is to carry out long, petty grudges. It's not an enviable position, but it is the one I've taken and anybody trying to stop me will have to go through the chokehold.
Or, well, buy me the game. But that would be violating the spirit of the thing.
My entire forest of green leaves have been burned down in the anger of my own self-loathing. to harken to feel anger would be to try and summon that spirit.

i was wondering his you jumped to this from the previous post and then like hours later i suddenly twigged that zizek is slovenian
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
You'll never make me stop consuming unicorn estrogen by the bottle!

Not really a twang, but any hint of a Nothern accent I had is beginning to return.
