It probably says something about me that one of the characters that interests me most in the Touhou series is not one of the "magical flying lolis." I think I mentioned this in the Touhou thread, but I'm really curious about Genji the turtle.
The only one I can name who canonically is physically a child is Suwako. Suika's usually drawn as such but she's mostly just short.
oh, and Chen too. But Chen is CHEEEEEEEN and in a class of her own.

I feel like I should be more interested in Hong Meiling because of the fan rumor that she's a dragon in disguise. But I don't know nearly enough about who she is as a character to make an informed judgment, if that makes any sense.

Ah yes, that fan nickname. Personally, I think her real name has a better ring to it.
And that's exactly what I mean. All we know about her is that she's a gate guard, practices martial arts, and has a lot of pride in her heritage. Even with the fanart laziness, that still isn't much to go on. Then again, the same could probably be said about everyone else we've mentioned thus far.

Tre: It is wholly possible to be a fan of Touhou and never play the games at all.
In fact the games themselves are so ass-bustingly difficult I don't even bother with the non-fighter ones.
