^^^^^ Yeah, in retrospect, maybe it wasn't a fair comparison. At the very least, Seth Putnam actually wrote songs, instead of the borderline-scamming that Viper does. A better comparison would probably be someone like Lil B, who also actually makes music you could feasibly listen to, but is only really liked for being such a personality.
^^^ To me, Imagine Dragons combines irritation with ubiquity in a way that no one has since Nickelback. Most annoying pop songs go away as quickly as they came, ultimately, but Imagine Dragons seems like they're going to stick around a while. I will grant you that Katy Perry comes close to being as simultaneously ubiquitous and irritating as they are, though.
I find Imagine Dragons don't quite have that quality that Nickelback had, probably because I don't find the Imagine Dragons' singer's voice as irritating. They're more just forgettably mediocre.
I posted a good song in the musicperson's thread today but it's just been like four posts of that in a row now so I think I have perhaps oversaturated.
there are a lot of in-universe circumstances that would make it make sense (for one thing, our current dynasty is half-Vietnamese which I could see causing tension) but it's still annoying.
so, it turns out that the rocking chair was just kinda sitting on one of the cables plugging the router into the wall
I'm thinking that it's quite possible that it's actually this that has been causing me connection problems. Gonna test it for a while and see if the connection jumps again, if it doesn't I think I found the solution to my problem.
