I got to meet someone who is both famous and important to me. Whose name I am keeping because I'm feeling wily right now.
Centie, there's apparently an elementary school in Michigan where all the classes are named after cutesy street names with their own metal road signs and everything. This is relevant to your interests.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
On reflection, i think the reason Huckleberry Hound isn't funny to me is that he just seems too affable to be on the receiving end of slapstick comedy.
that's the point, I think
on the other hand, I blame Pixie and Dixie's lack of popularity on Jinks feeling like an undeserving victim
Droopy Dog is an under-rated character, I feel.
I continually feel the shorts where Droopy has been redesigned to get too much hate
They're not very funny, but they are nice to look at:
(the wolf is voiced by Daws Butler - it might sound familiar)

See, with Jinks he was usually partly responsible for his own downfall, and he also tended to stay fairly mild-tempered so we knew he wasn't too seriously hurt, so i think the slapstick works, despite P&D being boring and unlikable.
With Huck, he gets pretty badly hurt while trying to do the right thing, and he neither overreacts nor shrugs it off; he just looks kind of cross. Which, under the circumstances, is pretty reasonable!

I read someone in a comment on one of Yowp's posts attribute the weakness of some of the early '60s H-B shorts to writer Warren Foster (if his name is familiar, you might have seen it in the credits of WB shorts; H-B poached he and Michael Maltese from there in 1958) being overworked; among his responsibilities, he was effectively the head writer of The Flintstones's first season. That show seems to have eaten up a lot of H-B's creative drive in its time - considering that it and Yogi comprised most of H-B's public image (and of course with The Flintstones they had to please ABC), that must explain it.
Speaking of trees, Grandpa has a fibre-optic light-up rotating Christmas tree. Mum got that out today and plugged it in.
He really smiled at that, and kept watching it. This was really good for him, he barely takes much notice of anything these days. So i was glad something like that could bring him such happiness.
i remember that video of the EDL guy referring to "Muslim infidels" immigrating into the country, but he was obviously confused and not all that smart.

i have noticed the comment sections on videos involving the situation in Syria or Iraq tend to be particularly nasty.
Lots of comments calling for the mass murder of all members of various West Asian countries, religious groups and political factions, as well as various European countries and, of course, America.
"The Boss Rush is an optional Room that becomes available by beating Mom in less than 20 minutes. (Note that if you beat Mom in time, and a Devil Room opens, you must return from the Devil Room into room where you fought Mom before 20 minutes has passed; otherwise, when you return, the Boss Rush door will be closed.)
In the center of a large room there will be 4 random Items to choose from. Picking up an item will cause the other three to disappear and start the Boss Rush. Completing the Boss Rush will also reward 1 more item, separate from the 4 seen when first entering the room."
Seriously, it's not just an optional thing? I guess it makes sense, but I this will probably be a bit tedious for every character. And Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a roguelike after all, so I'll be able to luck my way into them, or force them, in due time. Still sounds annoying.
on a scale from 1 to 10 for being bored I must be at a 10
I hate to say it, but no. You have a computer. You could go outside. *I* have been bored. I have sat in the same chair in the same room with nothing to stimulate me for hours and hours and hours, a number of times.

generally from watching people play Boss Rush isn't that bad because most of the time when you're going fast enough to get it it's because you got some rad items that also make doing the whole room fairly ok
plus you get all the normal heart drops that you get from fighting bosses so that'll help compensate fpor taking damage on it

Fair point on doing well. I could simply be having an awesome run, and luck into the Boss Rush mode. I would just prefer to cheese the system and get it over with, but I might change my stance on this later.
It's also not really fighting the bosses that is the issue for me; only five of them at most are potential threats, one of which is Monstro II except he still gives easy visual cues and so it's more like 4 or 4.5. The issue for me is getting there, as I see it.

It was leaking around the rim, it seems.

i'm wondering if this is a fair comparison or if i'm just being silly.
that's the point, I think
i guess we're just not free enough
So it *is* an anti-joke?

FREEEEEDOMMMMMMMMM
Not terribly bad, since he never seems particularly phased by any of it, but bad enough that it kills any humour to be had.

as a rule i don't read ISIS propaganda but i guess the stereotype is based on real propaganda
