The answer's no, those are two different things.
IIRC the easiest way to get to Device Manager is right-clicking the Start button (or the place where the Start button would be if there was one) and picking it from that little menu there.

Is your Flash plugin up to date? The newer versions of Firefox intentionally block old versions of Flash for security.
