Jane: It was a board on 4chan (I'm not sure if it still exists) that, at least originally, was robomodded; every post had to be unique. The hope was that this would make for a better community, but seeing as 4chan was and still is full of lonely, bored teenage boys, it got stupid quick.
Scornful Egotist actually has some use. A number of cards have an effect based on a creature's mana cost rather than power or toughness. Torrent of Fire, for instance. That'll get you three more damage points than Lava Axe for the same cost. Or Rush of Knowledge, which gets you draw 5 extra cards than the standard 5-mana drawspell.
It's not excellent, but it's tons better than the camel.
I just kinda don't like the idea of selling old stuff, especially when I don't really know where my money's going.
Something like Rollercoaster Tycoon, I have no idea who's getting what of those $3.
Whoever currently holds the intellectual property rights, I presume.
So, the original publisher, assuming they didn't sell it off or otherwise transfer it. How they distribute it is not really something you can control by choosing the distributor, and it's a thing for any publisher-backed game anyway.
And of course a cut to the distributor.
That said, if not for the above problem, what's wrong with selling old stuff?
I could throw food at all of his suits, but then he could sue me for damages, but then I could invoke magical powers to get out of the court and then throw more food at him, causing a slapstick comedy for Martians to view.
Of course if I'm going to invoke magical powers to save me from a few hundred or thousand dollars' worth of damages, I might as well invoke magical powers to overhaul various parts of the legal system and other policies, including: * fucking over the legal/policy stability that allows high finance to flourish * subsidies for fossil fuel industries * raising taxes on the wealthy back to Eisenhower-era levels
The fact that I could magically manipulate the legal system, though, would itself have political repercussions. Other people would invoke magical powers to manipulate the legal system and legislative record as well.
and as more people began to realize they could gain magical flying and food-flinging and law-changing abilities, they would all start to join in in an epic MAGICAL POLITICAL FOOD FIGHT spanning the entire country
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
4chan is full of filthy and offensive things in general, and that is just something to expect when browsing. I can handle it, but the only board I like much is /jp/.

Seems like he got a little overzealous with this one. And doesn't exactly know good diplomacy.
