Although strictly speaking "Krautrock" is really a retroactive construct, a critical catchall term for the kind of experimental psychedelia that came out of Germany toward the beginning of the '70s.
^^^^ You could try a different album, you know. But I understand how that feels.
Maybe write something. Get your mind off where you are and get your mind onto creating stuff, not because you need to but just because you can.
nah
gonna see what this Grimrock thing is all about, I like dungeon crawling, and Grimrock is entirely a dungeon crawl, so hopefully it'll help take my mind off things.
Creating art isn't usually relaxing for me, I have to put effort into it and it can be exhausting. So generally speaking I don't usually like to make things when I'm out of it.
I guess we have different ways of making art. Usually I start by just making things up on the spot and screwing around, then editing obsessively, or by coming up with some harebrained concept and then executing it on a whim and, again, refining it over the long run.
Starting out with a focus and putting a lot of effort in at the beginning is perfectly valid, but I'm more about, I dunno, exploring the hinterlands and then setting up camp somewhere nice.
Or, like, a lyric or a melody pops into my head and it becomes a sketch that becomes a song that becomes a track over time, but that's once more about slow building.

oh I do that, and can do so on a whim, just not when I'm emotionally drained like I am now.
OK, I understand, and I have definitely been there, actually quite recently.
Maybe you should just, like, go to bed after the thing's done downloading. I don't want you to leave, but when you feel that shitty, sleep can be a good way of recharging your batteries.
Hmmm...I can't remember having had cola champagne, but I've had Inca Kola and I understand it tastes similar.
Cola champagne has a taste similar to what is normally called cola in that it combines a lot of different flavours into one very complex but distinct flavour. My best summary is that it is like a combination of old-fashioned bubblegum and cream soda with an undercurrent of tropical fruits and possibly root beer.
Man, there's a rotisserie chicken place at Bailey's that has Diet Inca Kola, and I'm thinking about it because I have horrible cotton mouth at the moment. :p
It does not seem to be working on my browser—old busted browser is old and busted—but I do have it bookmarked just in case. Looking around the site, it looks pretty darned cool.
I think the most interesting dynamic is the conflict between machiavellian Masters and the various Servants the latter of whom due to being ancient heroes, god-kings, and the like, hold to ideals that are very different from those of the ones they serve, but are often no less self-serving.

I have heard really good things about it, and while the first F/SN adaptation looks pretty naff I hear they're redoing with the Fate/Zero team.
Honestly, Garden of Sinners is the most interesting-looking Nasuverse thing (to me, at least, even minus Boochi Mane), and altogether it's not that long, but it's also seven movies, and that feels more daunting in principle than, say, a series of the same length.

There is a list of people in the world I don't hate, and Tom Hanks is not on that list.
