I think what bothered me most about the idea of Bane in the Nolan Batman films is that he appears to be white. In fact, some quick googling reveals he is played by Tom Hardy, a man so white he was born in London.

Bane is Hispanic.
that's prolly why he wears the mask
the mask also bothers me because Bane's mask looks like this
it's basically a gimp-suit designed to tubefeed him drugs.

As a child, she described herself as being "a very weird little girl" because "I always wanted to have skeleton face paint on or be wearing a Freddy Krueger mask" and that her fifth-birthday party had a Jaws theme.[7] At one point, her mother became concerned for her "dark and deranged" ideas as a child: "There was a stage, when I was 3 or 4, where my mom thought I might grow up to be a serial killer."[12][13]
how dare teenagers be edgy
they should all obnoxiously quote kamina and be MANLY like me

Ariana Grande is offputting to me and I don't know why.
*does a google image search*
i think she at least looks more attractive than the average pop star with that oh-so-wavy-and-all-over-the-place glossy hair and the excessive eyeshadow
If you didn't respond to me at first, and I gave you a day to tell me why you friended me on Steam before I'm gonna unfriend you, then I unfriended you early.
But no, you responded to me by cussing at me, albeit in a language other than English. I think I have enough reason to drop you right then and there.

I never took the SAT or the ACT
This is sad news because I don't have a numerical value of how smart I am to gauge myself against others and feel inferior or superior as appropriate
I always felt that the Liam Neeson as Ra's was worse than the Bane thing. Iirc, Bane isn't full mestizo hispanic (checking Wikipedia shows that he's half British on his father's side), so Hardy isn't completely out of the blue, as opposed to Neeson, who is Irish and not remotely Arabic. And not quite as bad as the Mandarin becoming white. Still, could have at least gone with a better accent.
Also, Bane consistently shows up in the Arkham series as a glorified druggie with fists instead of the cunning criminal mind that made him popular in the first place, which I also find more offensive. Tell me that making Bane the criminal mastermind behind the third sequel wouldn't have improved things so very, very much.
"He is also highly devious and a superb strategist and tactician.[4] In prison, Bane also invented his own form of calisthenics, meditation, and a fighting style that he uses against other well-known martial arts fighters within the DC Universe. Bane creator Chuck Dixon's early tales portray Bane as a very calm, centered warrior akin to Bruce Lee; in as much that he draws strength through calm meditation, and the spiritual energy of the "very rock of Peña Dura". Dixon imbued Bane with an almost supernatural quality when he explained that Bane triumphed in all of his prison fights by employing these abilities, while his opponents had only rage and greed to propel them."
The makers of Arkham City did not read this paragraph or watch the critically acclaimed BTAS episode about Mr Freeze. That is my explanation for what occurred in that game.
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
I'll be honest, for eons, DC's WB ownership was always the elephant in the room when people spoke of DC media
I dunno, DC never felt like it was "supposed" to be part of WB, like something they bumped into one day (this is basically what happened - Time Warner predecessor Kinney bought DC in 1967, and WB in 1969) and prance around waving in people's faces

Whitewashing is still lame though
it's basically a gimp-suit designed to tubefeed him drugs. how many times must I restate that I don't watch movies because they're for nerds
I don't think either design is all that good, but the guy in the movie just looks like he has a mechanical bug stuck to his face.
Bane is a big guy.
I don't really watch movies of my own volition.
I think the last one I did was Summer Wars, and that was in like 2012.
