You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I am very skeptical of the Tokyo ESP anime right now
they adapted one of the last chapters to be the first episode as a sort of in media res thing, the art style and animation are kind of off in a way I can't really put a finger on, and the second episode opens with gratuitous fanservice.
...I hate how, no matter how far I get in my math education, stuff I haven't learned yet looks like gibberish.
Also, tbh, I always wondered how math majors manage to get past this feeling
I just kind of assumed that some people were predisposed to intuitively comprehend math and I'm just not one of them
Well, I haven't. Not quite, at least.
At this point, I can slightly parse what Tze and Lills (I'm trying out new nicknames, apparently; try to keep up) just said, but a lot of the time, I'm just as clueless as you are.
According to random internet sources of variable reliability, on average, college students in 2012-2014 have two less hours of sleep per 24 hour period than college students in 1980-1990.
GO TO SLEEP, PEOPLE. YOUR GOVERNMENT'S NOT OPPRESSING YOU, THERE'S NO CONSPIRACY. GO TO SLEEP, PEOPLE.
Incidentally, Mojave, I wasn't saying that I didn't like that particular kind of country-crossoverish adult contemporary (I actually really liked that song when I was 5), it's just that Bertie Higgins was kind of a nobody and that song was a one-hit wonder. Cross rocked a little harder, Ronnie Milsap had more hits, and everyone else was still trying to imitate Michael McDonald it seemed (at least until Chicago came roaring back around 1983).

went to sleep at eleven still laying in bed at the next eleven
I have a sore in the back roof of my mouth, my left ear pops whenever I swallow (and if I don't swallow, it keeps popping anyway), and I feel extremely cold all over.
Also, I have a History essay to write.
If I got to choose to only have to deal with one of these two things, I wouldn't choose to deal with the essay.
Ugh, just... somebody rub me behind the ears. Except don't, you'll catch what I have, which I got from my sister, which she got from her high school.
Well, at least it's 36 degrees celsius out there for my walk home in a couple hours. That should warm me up.
Somebody slap me and tell me to start on the essay.
It's a really troublesome story, because my main character keeps changing. All I have is that she is 23 years old with dirt blonde hair in a plait and brown eyes, who has two older brothers with brown hair and brown eyes. Who she actually is keeps constantly flip flopping.
I mean, I can't say I'd be surprised if they did, considering how much the electronics industry has changed since their 1970s and 1980s heyday, but it's still sad.
Also, I've known about electronics wholesalers that sell to the general public since at least the late 1980s. They've been eating the other side of Radio Shack's business, the hobbyist and DIY parts section, for years.
RadioShack seems like it's been dying for at least a decade now
I would say ever since they dropped their own-branded computers and started selling the same supermarket PCs everyone else was selling. It was the electronic gadgets and computers that let them still sell the more esoteric stuff, and when people started buying those things online and at Best Buy, the bottom fell out.
I was just reading a thread about Amtrak on CNBC, and I love how the comments are all about how it's a waste of money and it should be shut down and blah blah blah.
Question: And replace it with what? Air travel is cramped enough as it is, and you seriously do not want to drive from, say, DC-NY if you're in a hurry. You're not going to replace the Northeast Regionals with buses and get the same kind of service.
The other angle is that it's a train, people associate trains with cities, and, well, that can go a whole bunch of racist and classist places ("why should we support those [slur]s in New Yuck and DC when people are losing their jobs here in Salina?")

who cares? fuck you, von nityer
God that series flips between hilarious and suspenseful like no one's business.
I will end you, Crunchyroll.

Also, insufficient sleep has been linked to tiredness and depression, so yeah.

so I guess I'm actually doing this
To play on my PS3 or to plan my story out?
To blow up enemies or slog over a story which changes its plot every day?
Rose clouds of lies
Rose clouds of bitter
Bitter, bitter lies
And, when the angels of ignorance
Fall down from your eyes
Rose clouds of holocaust
Rose clouds of lies...
Rose clouds of twilight truth
Rose clouds of night
Rose clouds of harvested
(love, all alight)
And, when the ashes of life
Fall down from the skies
Rose clouds of holocaust
Rose clouds of lies...
And, festivals end
As festivals must
From the hooded crows of Rome
To the falcons of Zagreb
Oh, mother victim of Jesus
Lie down in Sydney's dust
For, festivals end
As festivals must
