"I'm the most conservative!" "No, I'm the most conservative of the conservatives!" "No, I'm the most conservative conservative of all the conservative conservatives who are conservative!"
a scenario, heapers: you are Person A. you are planning to house share in a small university city with Person B next year. you arrange everything and Person B even moves all of his stuff over to your house.
then you find somewhere cheaper, go back on the agreed deal and leave Person B in the lurch with nowhere to live in said city. Person B stays at your house for a total of less than 10 nights over the course of a month while he attempts to find a new place to live since you bailed on him, with Person B having to buy train tickets between his parents' house in london and said city at rather considerable expense as a result of this new need to find somewhere to live.
you decide to try and get Person B to pay you £20 in bill money. is this okay, heap? because my current thoughts are roughly 'fuck this guy i aint paying him shit'
First, I'm worried that this could end up with legal drama between person A and person B.
Second, clarification: are we talking about two different houses here? (not including person B's parents' house in London) Because it seems one house is the house share which I presume is a rental, and the other house seems to be the home of person A.
In that case, third, need more information: * What communications were made, and any agreements signed or verbally agreed to (if any), between persons A and B, to arrange this house share and the movement of all person B's "stuff" to person A's house? * How much time passed between person A and B agreeing to this house share (assuming this was done so verbally or on paper) and person B moving his stuff to person A's house, and was this move part of the agreement? * How much time passed between person B moving all of his stuff to person A's house and person A "find[ing] somewhere cheaper" and reneging on the house share agreement?
the home of person a was where the house share was going to be. there is only one house involved here. i am now moving in there with someone else in a few weeks, after a property search threw up nothing better. he is moving out.
nothing was signed but we had a verbal agreement about it. this verbal agreement was... april perhaps? and i had moved my stuff in in june. this is complicated by the fact that i thought i would have the place from july on, only to be told the guy living in my room was staying until september (something I didn't find out until i had moved all my stuff over, so it had to go in the basement, which is damp, for more than a month.)
Person a reneged on the deal early to mid august so this was quite some time after everything had been arranged.
i doubt there will be any ~legal drama~ involved but it is irritating especially when i do not have very much money, whilst person a has a regular job and a funded PhD and just booked himself a lovely holiday to bangkok.
Concepts that continue to be weird to me: Illegalised jaywalking. (Here in the UK, the only restrictions on it are the "Am I sure I want to cross a London main road during rush hour?" type.)

I forgot to take my antidepressant this afternoon and, guess what, I don't feel that usual pang of inexplicable tiredness.
I hereby resolve to start taking the antidepressant at night to see if it resolves the unwanted tiredness issue.

Sorry, am I doing that "boring live blogging of my life" thing again? My bad. -_-
Speaking of boring life blogging, it suddenly started raining really heavily just when I want to come home from school. It's quite annoying when that happens.

In big cities, at least, it's one of those things that's technically illegal but very rarely enforced. I've seen people cross against the traffic light in front of a police officer and nobody even bats an eye.

cos i stayed there for less than 10 nights (8 i believe? and not in a row, 2 spells of 2 nights and then 1 spell of 4 nights) looking at different houses in the area, sorting out potential housing benefit, etc., because he decided to bail out on me, and he expects me to contribute towards bills for that stay when ive already had to spend more than £100 on train tickets alone because of him. lol no
he seems to have dropped it anyway, maybe he realised he should show a bit of goddamn goodwill to someone he has inconvenienced, like, a lot.

It's raining here.
I think I'm gonna stay indoors a while. I've got calculus to work on, anyways.
Anyway i am formally moving into the house in october anyway, its a good house, insanely cheap price for what it is, landlady seems really cool (is that a contradiction in terms?) and it is just nice to know i will have somewhere to live next year. whew
I'd post music I find interesting but I'm afraid that if I post anything that's not classical or historical folk, it'll accelerate its eventually getting taken down.

Regarding the importance of Brother, I think there are some clues we can draw on in order to get to the bottom of this mystery.
Firstly, it's unlikely that the character is simply called Brother. He's either a henchman with whom Bane shares a brotherly bond or Bane's actual brother. I'm leaning towards the latter.
None of the other henchmen (note: NOT hired guns, as they are not guns and we can't know for sure if they are hired) ever talk directly tho Bane, since he is such a big guy. This implies there is an unusual connection between Brother and Bane. Perhaps Brother went through the same hardships as Bane did as a child, but emerged unscathed. Bane is a brilliantly written character (bravo Nolan) who certainly has his flaws. It is also established that he has a master plan. As expected, Brother is a more important character than he first seems, as I believe Bane resents him and chose to became a charismatic leader just FOR HIM. He gained Brother's trust and undying loyalty, just so he could one day leave him in the wreckage.
The word "fire" seems to hold some special meaning to both of them, but that is best left for another discussion.

Hunter X Hunter gets better with every episode, and it's already a fantastic series. This episode in particular was great in so many ways. Thanks, Togashi and company.
>30 years from now >he has a young daughter >he's on his deathbed, has to wear oxygen mask >wife's in tears >his daughter asks what the mask is for >he says it gives him air >she asks "if I pull that off, will you die?" >his eyes start to water and a single tear slides down his face >his wife says "sweetheart, it would be extremely painful" >he gets the biggest shit-eating grin on his face >stands up on the bed, yelling "FOR YOU" >with his wife and daughter still in shock, he says "they expect one of us in the wreckage" >he jumps out the window

And whose/which house is it that you stayed at for those approximately 8 nights?
Edit: Alternatively, never mind, if you've gotten this resolved.
