My friend Carlos (ignatius2722 'round these parts on the rare occasion he's here) is helping me learn how to play Magic and build decks for it.

I've played intermittently before but I don't quite get the game.

I have just finished a deck FILLED WITH LEGIONS OF THE SCREAMING DEAD.

I am not necessarily looking for feedback but I wanted to show it off.

I guess if that's what they were going for it succeeded. Tbh I dislike more the legion of really bad games it influenced and I guess it's not fair to blame Slender itself for that.

For what it's worth Slender did what little it did right; depressing, lonely, claustrophobic yet strangely agorophobic environment, surprisingly good setpieces, mechanics that were too needlessly complicated to ever become comfortable with them.

The lack of any sort of tension release was... interesting. But it made the game nearly impossible to play at times.

I'd like to do that sometime but I think I prefer just the normal game, especially for now.

I'm super casual in card games that aren't Hearthstone (even there I'm rather casual just because I'm bad), so I'm not trying to DOMINATE anyone or anything.

But before I play with anybody I gotta get Lackey working again, a lot of cards are missing from the Magic plugin.
