In fact, I understand ye olde Matrox G200 still sees use as part of server management controllers (nice ones that can do remote access and other tricks). It was hot stuff in 1998-1999 and was one of the development cards for Quake 3 Arena.
Turns out this is an older machine with a Nehalem-based CPU. It's not quite as bad as the old GMA-based machines, but it's also not nearly as good as Ivy Bridge or Haswell would be.

I guess the better questions would be:
What do you want to do with it?
How much do you want to spend?
I'm only able to spend around 450 dollars, and what I want from it is to be able to run most games from 2009 or earlier with relative ease.
To be honest if you're going for a gaming PC I would really just recommend going for a tower, that way you can upgrade parts later when you get more money

1. On the table in front of you, you will find papers, tobacco, a twenty bag and roach. Please assemble these materials into a European-style joint using the Wiz Khalifa rolling technique. (30)

You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I'm actually kind of amazed at how cheap everything computer-related is now, price/performance-wise. When I got my Pentium 75 machine for college in 1995, it was around $2500 ($3909 in today's money). I can get a machine that's ten times better than that practically for free now, and newer machines are something like 100 times better.

Write both stories, maybe?
Or flip a coin. Once it lands, you should know which one you wanted to come up; or at least you'll have one chosen for you.
