The only animated Scooby Doo film I remember involved zombies. And cat people. I think.
I actually remember that one being one of the better ones, in that it did what the live-action movie did, but with less terrible.
It was the first of the modern Scooby Doo films (as opposed to the older ones done in the original animation style) so it doesn't suffer from sequel stagnation as much as, well,
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
I do kind of wish that Time Warner would show the other H-B characters that aren't Scoob or the Flintstones (who they only still care about because they hawk cereal and vitamins) some love. Love that's not this:
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
I loved Muppet Babies, but it can never be shown again because the babies would always open a closet and see a monster with footage from a real movie. At least once, it was Darth vader , with footage from star wars.
Thats abut sixty years worth of copyright issues, no matter what, it can never be shown again until someone spends a lifetime doing the legal stuff.

True.
I never cared about the show, but I don't like Disney's IP hoarding and the fact that they are too lazy to clear Star Wars and Indiana Jones footage they actually OWN now bothers me
They actually care about the Muppets property and this would be something ideal to throw onto Disney Junior
Actually, now that I think of it, I can see why that would be the case. Cucumber's father is such an ass, and that whole situation is really irksome if you think about it.
^^ Oh, yeah, that as well. Or rather that is a part of the irksomeness. It really sucks.
"You're not actually going to listen to that parasite, I hope?" your bald, heavily tattooed cousin says with a raised eyebrow. "You want to actually give these monsters recognition? Not only are they going to make us the laughing stock of the international community, but they, and other freaks like them, are an insult to our race. What we must do is banish such scum from Ula Dominion; their lesser blood and DNA are only an impediment to the success and dominance of our race - a master race!"
Why is it that all of the really fascist options are always cached as "advice from your weird family member"?
I'm not going to say that I didn't find the sequence funny. But I seriously felt for Cucumber every step of the way there. And still do.
C'mon, I'm a fan of Elizabeth Alder. Feeling for characters is the name of the game. The pain is good, the pain is life, and gosh darn it not the innocent twin brother bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa -sobs-
Anyways, I was predisposed to hate Almond, for obvious reasons, but reading it again, she's not bad.
I really hated Tomato, eating that paper letter. Never abuse paper in front of me.
And daaaaaaaaaaaaang, Cucumber's dad comes off as less hilarious and more mean-spirited and awful "Wow, son. That's what you've been studying so hard for?".

Man, I hate to think what a lack of restraint is in this case.
