  • THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS
Wood was condemned to die for the cold-blooded 1989 murder of his girlfriend, Debra Dietz, and her father. The victims' families said the focus should be on his crimes, not his death.

"I don't believe he was gasping for air. I don't believe he was suffering," said Dietz's sister, Jeannie Brown. "Who really suffered was my dad and my sister when they were killed."

Gov. Jan Brewer said she was "concerned" about the execution length and ordered a review but insisted Wood did not suffer "in stark comparison to the gruesome, vicious suffering that he inflicted on his two victims."
This is why the death penalty should be illegal: It encourages violence by strengthening urges for vendettas.

If you couldn't tell, my computer skills are terrible...

What's a solid snake drive anyways?
  • THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS
it mails your fission when it needs scissors, or something
  • BE ATTITUDE FOR GAINS
They have no mechanical parts, hence less danger for impact and such, but also less power usage.

But it's new technology still soooo...
  • Sup bitches, witches, Haters, and trolls.
a solid state drive doesn't have spinny parts so it's faster and more reliable

a solid snake drive uses nanomachines
  • The guy who fixed my laptop was recommending me to get one of those when it's time for a laptop upgrade.

At this point, he's basically fixed every problem on every computer my family owns (for a cheap price to boot), so I take his words with a great deal of respect.

So I tried to use the XBONE today. Emphasis on "tried".

I've never seen such a flaming pile of shit before.

nyargh, SoundCloud is being a nuisance and won't let me put my song "Your New Best Friend" up because it contains copyrighted material from something apparently named

"Scirocco" by Hub, owned by Sinergy-Networks

which, I would presume, is a roundabout way of saying that I can't use the BattleBlock Theater samples it has at its start and finish

I'm in the process of replacing them but I'll be damned if I do that on the Bandcamp copy (which nobody can/would even pay for anyway)
  • wait, no, it's a song

and it's a song that sounds nothing like YNBF
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    wat
  • I tried to put my song on a song-sharing site, but it's not letting me for some stupid reason
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
the song is too great for human ears

    it would destroy our minds

I still use Xubuntu from time to time, though lately I've been using Windows by default so I can play The Sims 2

(Yes, I'd been playing The Sims 2 lately even before this latest "free download" thing)
  • My Steam games have me tethered to Windows, though given a canvas to work with I could easily jump back to Xub

but I'd need another computer for that

Games are exactly why I'm going to dual boot. :P
  • I'll probably dual boot on my college laptop if I get one

    Yep.
  • The story of adidas is a classic tale of sibling rivalry. In the
Bavarian town of Herzogenaurach the brothers Adolf (or Adi to his mates)
and Rudolf Dassler both ran the successful sports-shoe company Gebrüder
Dassler Schuhfabrik. Although the company was an instant success, the
brothers were always squabbling, and after a few fallings out (including
a hilarious prank in which Adi told American troops that Rudolf was a
    member of the SS
) they drifted apart. When Rudolf left to form Puma at
the opposite side of the town, Adi took Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik as
his own. Surprisingly he changed the name pretty quick and, after buying
the trademark three stripes from the Finish sportswear brand Karhu (for
two bottles of whiskey and the equivalent of 1600 euros), adidas was
    born.
    a sibling classic

Fun fact: When a user without privileges tries to use sudo, it sends a mail to root. Which by default is /dev/null.
