Did you know Verdana signage was common in British train stations in 1947?
(I don't know why I feel like picking on these silly typographical anachronisms)

I like Akzidenz, though anybody who's ever seen me on the original BTL has probably figured that out by now.
Also the typeface choices in this game (Dark Fall: The Journal) seem to tend to fall into the "technically not anachronistic, but stylistically inappropriate for the intended era" category, which is weird because Jonathan Boakes' later games tend toward the opposite (technically anachronistic but stylistically appropriate).
Also, apparently Anne isn't gonna be on it anymore. In that case I'm kinda thinking that my presence would be redundant, considering that the only thing I really did on the old BTL was talk to her, more or less.

I've been meaning to play with MyBB myself. Perhaps I should now that I have some free time.

So with the switch to semesters my school is introducing an all-new semester catalog, in which every course is identified not by a three-digit number but a four-digit number.
Which is really confusing to me somehow, because the four-digit numbers don't seem to follow the same progression as the 3-digit ones did.
^^ It started off as a site to discuss (read: criticize and/or mock) TVT and its (numerous) issues, but it's since mutated into a hangout site not unlike this one.
You know, ignoring for a second how messed up the way it happened is, it's actually kind of beautiful that there's a little constellation of troper offshoots. The troposphere, as it were.
...anyway. So I thought I'd have to completely wipe this partition to install something, but it turns out indiscriminately deleting programs I wasn't using was more than sufficient. Though it might've been a good idea to redo that anyway, but, you know, effort.
But the important thing is I'm finally getting around to installing Mass Effect 1 after buying it in a sale a while ago. Maybe I'll get the others sometime, but I'm pretty sure I'd have to get a better computer to run those. :o YNTPT

^ That fail is so epic, James Cameron could make a billion-dollar-movie with it.
That way it could have EXPLOOOOSIOOOONS.
Odd.
Oh, the memories that came flooding back from seeing it...

...so I want to play with MyBB in XAMPP now.

I'll probably prefer Vanilla though because Vanilla's got me wrapped around its finger.

Penny Arcade uses it and they seem great with it over there. And we've only had a few bugs here.
^ That was what it was, but as time went by it turned into a community of its own, and one I still couldn't really find my place in.
But TBH I actually had something to do with convincing Anne to make a new forum altogether.
Did the site go anti-matter or something?
COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT

(Or just, y'know, use a phone. Mobile theme never changed.)
I'd rather deal with this than deal with that.
