  • So...caveman Batman wouldn't have a Batcave because that's where everyone lives anyway, so therefore he has a tree instead.

    I like this logic.

I went and hid the hawt pony behind links.

Yeah, keep it to the pony threads, if you insist on posting it.

So CANon, who do I contact about incorrect wording on a street sign anyway? I found a sign in Great Falls, MT that directs somebody to Central Avenue, except it doesn't and it directs somebody to 1st St instead.
Depends on who maintains the road. If it's a city street, you would contact the city's Public Works department, but if it's a state highway you'd contact the state Department of Transportation.

(Most streets within a city will be city-maintained, unless they're a numbered route)

This Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 1 box set my mother bought ten years ago still has the receipt in it.

Unfortunately it's faded so much it's almost entirely unreadable. I can make out "SALE", "Welcome to Best Buy #292, Columbus OH", and if I turn it to the light I can see the date "04/09/03". That's about it.

  • Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
I have an excellent idea! Let's change the subject! [/random Disney reference]

Anyone else have the tendency to want to start games completely over when you haven't touched them in a while? I've been getting that with some of my Pokémon games lately.
  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
    I don't think I get that.

    ^^ I have that tendency with RPG's.

For example, I've played through Paper Mario, like, three times already.

It's not just after I've beaten them. In fact, in Pokémon HeartGold, it's happened twice just before the Elite Four that I nagged myself for making silly mistakes until I gave in and started over. And now apparently I'm nagging myself for not being able to think of good names for a female Gastly and catching a Zubat at the beginning of the game because "I'll use Arbok more and my PC box will be too cluttered."

Stupid inner perfectionist. Sometimes I forget why I keep him around.

Oh... Well, in that case, I guess the fact that I gave up on my first playthrough of Paper Mario 2 (in the last level, even) and started all over again is closer to what you're talking about, then.

  • No. Why would it be you?

I was just taking a walk earlier, picking up some soda from the store (*Diet Pepsi*) and I was mulling over people going "Eww, that's creepy and gross and it makes me sad!!!!" (*No-one in particular, just people in general*)

And then my brain was like "Don't like, don't read, no-one cares about what you think, so SHUT UP. People nowadays, hell, people always (*But it's worse now with Tumblr and tweeting and status updates and stupid internet shit*), have felt entitled to judge other people. People are social animals, always peering over their fences at their neighbor and proudly proclaiming all their feelings and sad, petty problems to the world. Do you see me complaining? Do I go around whining... (*rant continues Ad Nauseum*)"

Urgh, sometimes I wanna take humanity as a whole and put it on time-out for a few hours to think about what it does.

  • Rockstar as a company fascinate me for some odd reason. Maybe it's just that weird dedication to their craft I've seen in their games ever since I was little.

And if you're wondering, no, I did not play Grand Theft Auto III when I was a wee lad. Nah, I was more of a Midnight Club kind of guy.
