It's okay. I've almost found a sort of...peace in it, I guess?
Sure, my laptop's out of commission, but I still have a working computer on hand, which means I'm a fair bit luckier than the average college student in this situation, and I don't have anything that requires the laptop to be functional (well, except for music stuff, but we've already been slacking on that for a while; two more weeks won't hurt). Now's not the time for unbridled umbrage at the world. Now's the time to take advantage of what I still have.
@Crystal i know other people's perceptions of the subject won't necessarily be accurate. But idk, to me it sure seems like a lightweight subject that i am just really bad at, rather than a seriously hard subject.
Part of what's disheartening is i used to be really interested in science and i've several times found myself missing problems in which there is a right or wrong answer.
@Klinotaxis i wanted to do a masters because i figured a bach in lit is p much meaningless and also i liked the idea of having time to read and study without pesky adult obligations like full time employment getting in the way
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
We watched the Egoraptor Sequelitis Zelda video while high and umm, good video. :D It was amusing but also made a lot of good points about game design.
you know what's somehow discouraging? Knowing that pretty much all of my favorite musicians (Rush, Zeppelin, the Beatles, etc.) did their best work when they were younger than I am.

then again, whatever
Friedrich Schelling wrote an essay that got called genius by Goethe when he was 19.

Everybody stutters one way or the other so check out my message to you: as a matter of fact, I know nothing will hold you back; if the scat man can do it, so can you.
really? i thought both sides played a pretty clean game, though these things are i guess relative
Oh yeah, I didn't say it was dirty. Just saying that Belgium's offense seemed relentless. On the other hand, USA's goalkeeper was top-notch.
Oh, yeah, they played a very positive game, especially in that second half. Though America had their moments of strong offensive play too, particularly towards the end. Shame nothing more came of it.
And yeah, I've been really impressed with Tim Howard this year.

I ordered the most badass pizza ever and even my gf liked it. ^_^ It is pineapple and salami and spicy barbecue sauce and sun-dried tomatoes and Italian seasoning and tomato sauce. Yus. >:3

Eager for the reward,
White wings flailing.
Then came a silent Dove,
Flying beyond the Pelican,
As far as he could.
A Raven flies in,
Flying higher than the Dove,
Just to show that he can.
A Swan glides in,
To find a peaceful spot,
Next to another bird.
Finally out comes a Crow,
Coming quickly to a stop,
Yawning and then napping.
Who will show the way,
Who will be the key,
Who will lead
To the silver reward.
