Wine continues to become more and more non-functional, for reasons I am too dumb to understand. I ran TH06 in a window because nothing works full-screen. I can't use vpatch anymore because Wine doesn't understand Japanese. The game would not display for some reason. I couldn't exit with the keyboard because the keyboard doesn't work in Wine anymore. I tried to click the X but my mouse was unable to interact with the window. I looked for a way to end the process and couldn't find it. I restarted instead. I am kind of pissed off and I miss Touhou. But I still can't say "I wish I was using Windows 8" because W8 is still a broken piece of crap that regularly caused crashes and input glitches and can't run half of games full-screen. Instead I will say that I hope to get a another computer with Windows 7 sometime. Windows 7 actually ran my games. All of them. Imagine that. The only reason I stopped using it was that I destroyed my computer while repairing it and had to hastily get a new one.

so the problem is apparently that the charger that I ordered can't pump out enough amps to charge the battery. My laptop's original charger was spec'd for 6.3 Amps and 120 Watts. Every other charger that I've been using pumps out 2-3 Amps at most.
theoretically, all i have to do is find a charger that, A, has the exact voltage (current knowledge suggests that voltage not matching specs exactly will lead to sad times) and a high enough amp rating, and this small nightmare will finally be over.
