I can vouch for the former personally, but everyone that I know who has read the latter has told me really good things about it and the art is so, so pretty.
Also, there is a fight scene in one of the later chapters of Gunnerkrigg Court that is just amazing.

Pretty much. Nobody who's read GC, including me, has ever come away saying "screw that comic". It is a beacon of light to all who come across it
My little brother picked up a free Magic starter deck and I glanced over some of the rules.
Magic has always fascinated me conceptually but I've never had a particular desire to get into it, but I always end up enjoying TCGs I play.
I'd totally be willing to grab a copy of the online game the next time it goes on sale on Steam for you.
Or I could tell you how to download Cockatrice, which is free, and teach you the finicky bits of the program through PMs, tutorial games, that wax on, wax off thing, the works.

Man, Miko was rattled by that article? No way am I reading it.
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
I am not a person easily "rattled" but I mean that the experience that lady is describing (being close to a group of murderers as a child and having her life threatened) seems scary.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Fucking Monday -_-
I pronounce it the same way I'd say the first syllable of "urban". No h.

Zoos are weirdly influenced by the concept of a nuclear family. People want to see one mother, one father, and a couple of kids, regardless of the species and their mating habits. Zoos still tend to keep one male and one female lion together, despite what we all know happens in the wild, where one adult male can have a whole harem. It's just easier to tell little Susie that they are mommy and daddy lions, rather than open the discussion up to alternate sexualities.
Mine eyes have seen the orgy of the launching of the Sword; He is searching out the hoardings where the stranger's wealth is stored; He hath loosed his fateful lightnings, and with woe and death has scored; His lust is marching on.
I have seen him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps; They have builded him an altar in the Eastern dews and damps; I have read his doomful mission by the dim and flaring lamps— His night is marching on.
I have read his bandit gospel writ in burnished rows of steel: "As ye deal with my pretensions, so with you my wrath shall deal; Let the faithless son of Freedom crush the patriot with his heel; Lo, Greed is marching on!"
We have legalized the strumpet and are guarding her retreat;* Greed is seeking out commercial souls before his judgement seat; O, be swift, ye clods, to answer him! be jubilant my feet! Our god is marching on!
In a sordid slime harmonious Greed was born in yonder ditch, With a longing in his bosom—and for others' goods an itch. As Christ died to make men holy, let men die to make us rich— Our god is marching on.
Cracked's person experiences articles are pretty decent, and not as shallow as the rest of the site. The more mundane, "woah look at this!" crap can also be entertaining, but only in the shallowest way. Especially where animals are concerned, it's best to, you know, not read a clickbait site. Better than BuzzFeed by far (though that's not saying much), but again, clikbait like wild. I still consider it iffy in general, the experiences section excepted. I mean, they're basically never going over something that hasn't been talked over more eloquently by a more professional site, especially where history, politics, and sex junk is concerned (and certainly others).

The Big O.
but it's manageable (unlike say, Dwarf Fortress, or something) and there are good, solid tutorials out there.
Plus there's a lot of stuff that you just will straight up never need to know (MTTH values for example).
